Have you ever been in a situation where someone asks you to stop by or to make time in the future to come by to watch and learn what they do? If you have, then you were given the best opportunity possible. If you ever hear those words, then you are one lucky duck.
When a person offers to show you part of their job or to teach you some part of what they do, you take it. It is rare to get an offer where their time is used to teach or demonstrate how something is done. Never ignore such rare chance but rather seize the moment and take full advantage when it presents itself. There may be a time at a party, a gathering, an event, or just waiting in line with others, when someone may start talking to you about their job and they might just happen to mention that if you are interested anytime to just drop by or come sit with them to spend time learning about what they do. If this does ever happen, make sure you say “yes” and enjoy.
